【摘要】:Ameasurementoftheresidualacrylonitrileinnitrilerubbers(NBR),styrene-acrylonitrilecopolymersorABSterpolymerswilldeterminethepolymer''ssuitabilityforvariousapplications.Underoptimumconditions,theminimumlevelofdetectionofRANinNBR,SAN,orABSterpolymersisapproximately50ppb.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheresidualacrylonitrile(RAN)contentinnitrile-butadienerubbers(NBR),styrene-acrylonitrile(SAN)copolymers,andrubber-modifiedacrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene(ABS)resins.1.2Anycomponentsthatcangenerateacrylonitrileintheheadspaceprocedurewillconstituteaninterference.Thepresenceof3-hydroxypropionitrileinlaticeslimitsthisproceduretodryrubbersandresins.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Specificprecautionarystatementsaregivenin6.3and6.4.Note18212;ThereisnoknownISOequivalenttothistestmethod.
