【摘要】:1.1Intheinterestofuniformityandquality,theaerosolindustryhasdevelopeddimensionalguidelineswhicharesuggestedforU.S.three-piecesteelandtin-plateaerosolcansofstraight-wallandnecked-indesign.Domesticcanmakersuniformlyagreedtocomplywiththeseguidelinesandwereinstrumentalintheirdevelopment.Aseriesofstandardmethodsandgageswerealsodevelopedtouniformlydeterminespecificdimensions.Thetolerancesestablishedforthesedimensionsallowforcanmanufacturingandfillingprocessvariations.1.2Itisthepurposeofthisguidetoprovidealistingofcurrentlymanufacturedaerosolcansizesaswellasindustryvoluntarydimensionalguidelines.1.3Table1andTable2presentthesalescodediameterandheightofstraight-wallandnecked-inthree-pieceaerosolcans.TheunitsinparenthesesareinSIformat,analternatereferenceusingdimensionssuggestedbytheMetricWorkingGroupoftheCanMakersInstitute.TheyarebasedonInternationalOrganizationforStandardization(ISO)insidediameterstothenearestwholemillimetre.Canheightsarebasedonheightsoverthedoubleseam(CSMADimensionD)convertedtothenearestwholemillimetre.1.4Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.TABLE1SalesCodeHeightforVariousDiametersofStraight-WallAerosolCans(SI)202(52mm)by207.5(60mm)by211(65mm)by300(73mm)by214(73)
