【摘要】:ThispartofIEC60079isconcernedwiththeclassificationofhazardousareaswhereflammablegasorvapourrisksmayarise,inordertopermittheproperselectionandinstallationofapparatusforuseinsuchhazardousareas.Itisintendedtobeappliedwheretheremaybeariskofignitionduetothepresenceofflammablegasorvapour,mixedwithairundernormalatmosphericconditions(seenote2),butitdoesnotapplytoa)minessusceptibletofiredamp;b)theprocessingandmanufactureofexplosives;c)areaswhereariskmayariseduetothepresenceofignitabledustsorfibres;d)catastrophicfailureswhicharebeyondtheconceptofabnormalitydealtwithinthisstandard(seenote3);e)roomsusedformedicalpurposes;f)areaswherethepresenceofflammablemistmaygiverisetoanunpredictableriskandwhichrequirespecialconsideration(seenote5);g)domesticpremises.Thisstandarddoesnottakeintoaccounttheeffectsofconsequentialdamage.Definitionsandexplanationsoftermsaregiventogetherwiththemainprinciplesandproceduresrelatingtohazardousareaclassification.Fordetailedrecommendationsregardingtheextentofthehazardousareasinspecificindustriesorapplications,referencemaybemadetothecodesrelatingtothoseindustriesorapplications.NOTE1Forthepurposeofthisstandard,anareaisathree-dimensionalregionorspace.NOTE2Atmosphericconditionsincludevariationsaboveandbelowreferencelevelsof101,3kPa(1013mbar)and20℃(293K),providedthatthevariationshaveanegligibleeffectontheexplosionpropertiesoftheflammablematerials.NOTE3Catastrophicfailureinthiscontextisapplied,forexample,totheruptureofaprocessvesselorpipelineandeventsthatarenotpredictable.NOTE4Inanyprocessplant,irrespectiveofsize,theremaybenumeroussourcesofignitionapartfromthoseassociatedwithelectricalapparatus.Appropriateprecautionswillbenecessarytoensuresafetyinthiscontext.Thisstandardmaybeusedwithjudgementforotherignitionsources.NOTE5Mistsmayformorbepresentatthesametimeasflammablevapours.Thismayaffectthewayflammablematerialdispersesandtheextentofanyhazardousareas.Thestrictapplicationofareaclassificationforgasesandvapoursmaynotbeappropriatebecausetheflammabilitycharacteristicsofmistsarenotalwayspredictable.Whilstitcanbedifficulttodecideuponthetypeandextentofzones,thecriteriaapplicabletogasesandvapourswill,inmostcases,giveasaferesult.However,specialconsiderationshouldalwaysbegiventothedangerofignitionofflammablemists.
