【摘要】:ThisPartdescribesamethodfordeterminingthestabilityofahotmeltadhesiveduringprocessingatelevatedtemperatures.Themethoddoesnotapplytoadhesivesinthefinalbondedstate.Itisparticularlyapplicabletohotmeltadhesivesusedinprocessesorequipmentwhereareservoirofadhesiveiskeptmoltenatorneartheapplicationtemperature.Thetestcanbeusedintwoways:(a)toexaminetestportionsatintervalstodeterminethetrendinthepropertiesunderinvestigation;(b)toestablishwhetherornottheadhesivemeetsthespecifiedoragreedrequirements,forexamplethatitsviscositystaysbelowagivenvaluewhentheadhesiveisheldforagivenperiodatagiventemperature.Themethodoftestissuitablefortemperaturesupto300℃andamaximumageingperiodofthreedays.
