【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandarddefinesminimumdatasetsforsurgicalimplantstofacilitaterecordingandinternationalexchangeofdataforthepurposesofimplantregistryandtrackingsystemsandforretrievalanalysis.Minimumdatacollectionrequirementsarespecifiedforthepurposeofimplanttrackingtoallowrecallforproductcorrectionorpa-tientfollowupintheeventofunforeseendevicemalfunction.Theminimumdatasetalsofulfilsthecoredatarequire-mentstoallowcrossreferencingbetweenextendeddatasetsforthepurposesofretrievalanalysisandresearch.ThisInternationalStandardisapplicabletothemanufacturersanddistributorsofmedicaldevicesintendedforper-manentimplant,i.e.morethan30daysandtothosehospitalsandothermedicalfacilitieswhichcarryoutimplantprocedures.Itspecifiesrequirementsfordataitemstoberecordedbythemanufacturersanddistributorsofperma-nentlyimplantablemedicaldevicesandbyhospitalsandothermedicalfacilitiesatboththetimeofimplantandatthetimeofanysubsequentexplantprocedure.ThisInternationalStandardisintendedtodefineaminimumdatasettoberecordedforallimplantandexplantevents,aswellasprovidingforthetimelyretrievalofminimumimplantdatarelatedtospecificsubsetsofpatientswhohavereceivedspecificidentifieddevicesordeviceswithinaspecifiedrangeoflot,batchorserialnumbers,forthepurposeofpatientfollowup.ItisnottheintentofthisInternationalStandardtoprovideameansofdatarecoverywhichisrelatedtospecificmedicalpractitioners,medicalfacilitiesormanufacturersforpurposesotherthanpatientfollowup.NOTEUsersofthisInternationalStandardshouldensurecompliancewithappropriatenationalstandardsorregulationscon-cerningdataprotectionandhandling.
