【摘要】:ThisPartofBS1726providesguidanceonmethodsofspecifying,tolerancingandtestingofparallelsidedhelicalcompressionspringsmanufacturedfromcircularsectionmaterial.Twogradesoftolerance,1and2,aregivenforcircularsectionsprings.Threetypesofendcoilsareprovidedfor,i.e.openend,closedend,andclosedandgroundend,thelastofthesebeingapplicableonlytospringswherethediameteroraxialdimensionofmaterialis0.5mmorgreater.ThisPartofBS1726differentiatesbetweenspringsthathaveorhavenotbeenstressrelievedafterforming(designatedgroupA),andsprings,thematerialofwhichhasundergoneastructuralchangebyheattreatmentafterforming(designatedgroupB).Thisstandardgivestwomethodsofspecifyingspringsforgeneralpurposesandonemethodoftestingsprings.
